Lisa was very excited to visit Lucerne because her parents had visited there 50 years ago. She was so happy to see the town looked just like the photos from her parents album. She bought a watch very similar to the watch her parents had bought for her in Lucerne 50 years ago.

After checking into the hotel, we started on a walking tour of the city. The first place we stopped was the Jesuit Church, the first baroque church in Switzerland.

We continued our tour and crossed the Mill Bridge and stopped for a drink in the Muhlenplatz.

After a tasty libation, we walked to the Hof Kirche.

We had a nice lunch and walked up to the Lowendenkmal (Lion Statue) which is a monument to the Swiss Guards of Louis XVI and finished the tour by crossing the Kapellburcke (The Chapel Bridge).

We ended the evening with a delicious dinner at the Restaurant Taube (a Rick Steve's recommendation) along the Reuss River.
